Lim Si Wei is a Singapore-based educator, writer, and tourism professional whose career bridges language, culture, and creative expression. With over a decade of experience working closely with Japanese individuals and organizations since 2012, he has built a strong foundation in teaching, translation, and interpretation. His two-year residence in Ehime, Japan, further deepened his cultural insight and strengthened his bilingual ability in English and Japanese.

Si Wei’s professional path is uniquely multidisciplinary. He is an accomplished short-story writer and researcher, with a curiosity that extends into woodworking, design, and the study of nature, art, and architecture. These passions shape his distinctive perspective and enrich the experiences he creates for others.

In February 2023, he earned his certification as a professional tour leader, followed by his official license as a Singapore tourist guide in September of the same year. His dedication to excellence in the tourism field was recognized in 2024, when he received one of the top awards in Singapore’s tourism industry. Motivated by this achievement and his long-standing commitment to cross-cultural connection, he went on to establish his own tour agency, specializing in personalized tours for Japanese travelers seeking deeper engagement with Singapore’s heritage, everyday life, and creative spaces.

Guiding in both English and Japanese, Si Wei brings warmth, precision, and storytelling to every tour. His background as an educator ensures clarity and care in communication, while his artistic eye highlights the beauty in overlooked details. Whether introducing Singapore’s vibrant neighborhoods, discussing local craftsmanship, or presenting the island’s architectural evolution, he strives to create experiences that foster genuine understanding between cultures.

With a spirit grounded in curiosity and creativity, Lim Si Wei continues to guide, write, and build meaningful bridges between Singapore and the world.

Since 2024, we have developed more than 40 tour programs, each designed with varying levels of depth, difficulty, and duration. These tours span a wide range of knowledge areas, including culture, religion, infrastructure, government initiatives, business, finance, architecture, art, transport, history, sports, nature, and sustainability.

“Thank you so much for the help, Si Wei! The tour was very informative and thank you for easily adjusting whatever our boss wants. As what our boss said, he likes how easy-going and very nice you are. As for me, I like how everything is laid out already and the tour was very chill. I hope to go back again with another tour group, and hopefully we can meet each other soon again :)”

“Si Wei was absolutely incredible in every way possible. For someone who has never been in this part of the world, he made me feel welcome and interested in every aspect of the culture. Even though my visit was limited to a few hours I was able to experience multiple areas of the city. With his expansive knowledge of the country, I was able to learn much more than I could have imagined if I were alone. If anyone is in need of a guide, he is the perfect companion to show you around. I thank him dearly and am looking forward to returning soon. Thanks again, it really has been memorable. The stopover was definitely worth it. Thanks again and I’ll be looking forward to seeing you again soon.”

“Si Wei conducted the tour in a light and easy to understand manner.”
“Clear explanation and precise description.”
“Good knowledge of plants and can relate to our daily lives.”

“You’re amazing. You made the tour seamless. I learnt a lot about Singapore in 3 hours. Kudos to you.”
